Flying on LOT was apprehensive. The flight was 45 minutes late departing and
I (Al) had visions of missing my connection in Warsaw to Krakow. But I got in
with some time to spare and I tried to call Bo.
Her T-mobile Iphone showed caller id from Hungary,
or Spain or elsewhere in Europe
so she did not answer my calls. Fortunately, she met me at Krakow airport. Subsequently googling this anomaly showed
many users had the same problem. The
Hilton hotel is in the airport right opposite to the terminal. It is an easy
walk from baggage claim to hotel. In the meantime, Bo had a pleasant day taking
the train from Opole to Krakow, and touring Krakow with her cousins.
On so many of your trips here and there in the world, your pictures show architecture with character, humor, precision, painstaking detail...that contrasts sharply with the boring, corporate or cookie-cutter styles in the USA... Sigh. Thanks for sharing this... Have a great trip.
